Driving From Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers, Florida

Sanibel & Captiva Islands are 28 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport (airport code RSW).
From I-75 Exit 131 and the Southwest Florida International Airport:
You will want to travel west (toward the Beaches!) on Daniels Parkway for approximately 6 miles (from the interstate bear left at the traffic light if traveling Northbound, bear right if traveling Southbound).
Continue with "From All Directions" (see below).
From Miami: Take I-95 to 595W to I-75 (Alligator Alley) north. Pay $1.50 toll at entrance to Alligator Alley and continue north/westbound to Exit 131. Take Exit 131 and turn left at the traffic light onto Daniels Parkway.
Continue with "From All Directions" (see below).
From Miami Airport: Take 836 West to 826 North to I-75 North. Take Exit 131 and turn left at the traffic light onto Daniels Parkway. Continue with "From All Directions" (see below).
From Tampa: Take I-75 south to Exit 131. Take Exit 131 and bear right.
Continue with "From All Directions" (see below).
From Orlando: Take I-4 west to Tampa. Take I-75 south to Exit 131 and bear right. Continue with "From All Directions" (see below).
From All Directions: Continue on Daniels Parkway to U.S. 41. At U.S. 41 Daniels Parkway becomes Cypress Lake Drive. Cross U.S. 41 and continue on Cypress Lake Drive. Continue to Summerlin Road and turn left at the traffic light. Stay on Summerlin until it dead-ends at the Sanibel Toll Booth. Stay in the 2 right lanes and pay the $6.00 toll. Cross the 3 bridges to Sanibel Island. At the 4-way stop bear right onto Periwinkle Way. Continue on Periwinkle 2.9 miles and turn left at 2427 Periwinkle Way (if you see the 7-11 or Sanibel Shell, you went 2 driveways too far! Turn around!). Late Arrival Procedures: If you are arriving after our office is closed and your reservation is paid in full, you may pick up your keys from the lockbox at our office. Keys will not be placed in the lockbox unless your reservation is paid in full or alternate arrangements have been made with the Cottages to Castles office.
